Day 4 | Rome | ITALIAN LANGUAGE CLASS & PIZZA MAKING Today after breakfast you will begin your language class. Exciting..you will use public transportation well mapped out for you during your course so you can experience a true local flair! Meet at your language school for your first session, which will include an assessment, placement and introduction to the course. Afternoon free to explore your interests. Afternoon: Pizza making lesson at a typical restaurant. You will learn how to make pizza from scratch Dinner: MANGA! Enjoy the dinner you have prepared! (B,L,D) |
Day 5 | Rome | ITALIAN LANGUAGE & VATICAN TOUR Public transport to the school-Language class. Afternoon - Visit the extraordinary Vatican Museums. With our expert local guide we'll tour the Vatican Museums, a treasure trove of ancient Greek sculptures, medieval tapestries and Renaissance paintings. Our visit culminates in the Sistine Chapel, the room where the Pope is elected. Next we visit St. Peter's Basilica, by far the largest church in Christendom. We'll see Michelangelo's Pieta, sculpted when he was just 24, as well as Bernini's seven-story bronze canopy located above the main altar. At the conclusion of the visit, walk across the Piazza San Pietro to board the CAR back to the hotel.(B) |
